What to Expect from PHIA Designations

We’ve created a designation system that reflects the training and alignment of PHIA recognized salons with our four pillars of service. These are our "certified" “endorsed” and “trained” recognitions. Not all Phia professionals offer the same experience, and only our Partner Salons are held fully accountable to Phia standards. Certified

 Professionals have completed a minimum of a full year of PHIA core education or equivalent and commit to delivering our signature standards.

Endorsed

Professionals have completed all core classes or equivalent, are fully trained in our standards, and prioritize clear client communication.

Trained

 Professionals with the Trained designation have completed at least six of our core classes or equivalent, and are familiar with our standards. 

While we are not directly accountable for the work of our Designated Professionals (for that level of assurance, visit a partner salon or the original Phia location), we are confident in their ability to deliver high-quality services and results.
